                     This is the era of data science. The skill for data analysis is becoming a necessary skill in every field. This course is designed as simple as students from any discipline can understand the fundamental concepts of data analysis and even perform some simple analysis, without much basic knowledge in mathematics.

                          This course is an introductory course in statistics meant  to equip the students with the  basic skills of data analysis. Starting from the very beginning, defining the preliminary concepts of statistics and computations using significant figures, the course introduces the procedure for organizing the data in a frequency distribution. Graphical representation of the data is  also introduced. Then processing the data using measures of central tendency and dispersion are explained.

                           The students who complete this course will be able to arrange the given data using frequency distributions and graphs and analysing the data using various tools mentioned below
