- Recognize the interdisciplinary area of Nanoscience and Technology
- Realize different nano systems and recognize the advanced tools used for their analysis
- Understand the reasons behind size dependent physical or chemical properties of nanomaterials
- Analyze the phase transformation process and understand how to control that process for nanostructure creation
- Introduce different methods available for the fabrication of nanostructures
- Recognize different nanosystems and the tools for their analysis (K2)
- Understand the size dependent physical phenomenons observed in nanomaterials (K2)
- Realize the origin of surface energy, energy minimization and stabilization processes in nanosystems (K2)
- Understand and apply the kinetics of phase transformation in nanosystems (K2,K3)
