This course is designed to provide broad understanding about the socio political and cultural conditions of Arab world so as to understand its literature in broad sense. Following are the important aspects of this course.
1. To understand geographical features of various Arab countries in different continents.
2. To understand the formative periods of modern Arab world.
3. To differentiate features of Modern Arab Republics and Monarchies (Kingly states, Princely states etc).
4. To compare the cultural and civilizational elements among Arab countries.
5. To provide capacity to analyze the present socio political scenario of contemporary Arab world.
6. To understand the socio cultural Relations between India and Arab world
